"24 Times in Hell" – VR Experience Software
As part of the project, we created an interactive VR experience that allows visitors to explore a district of Győr that was bombed in 1944. Through a highly realistic digital reconstruction, bomber planes flying overhead make the experience even more immersive.
The software aims to provide museum visitors with a new, interactive way to engage with history. By utilizing virtual reality technology, visitors are not just observers but active participants in history, gaining a deeper insight into Győr’s past and the realities of wartime.
Development Steps
- Project Planning & 3D Model Creation – Designing and modeling 3D assets based on historical photographs from 1944.
- VR Environment Setup – Arranging virtual reality spaces accurately, following the museum’s historical guidelines.
- Equipment Acquisition – Procuring Pico Neo 3 Pro VR headsets.
- Hardware Development – Custom-built computers optimized for the VR experience.
- Final Delivery – Providing the most stable final version along with all digital assets.
